Our Private Beach!

Enjoy this campgrounds private beach on the famous Mendocino Coast, near Fort Bragg, California! You can wade, swim and surf (we rent surf and boogie boards). The sandy beach is perfect for playing in the sand, throwing Frisbees, footballs, and flying a kite. Kids: bury your dad in the sand! Parents: Relax with a good book and enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. Surf fish from the beach (fishing license required).

Ice Cream Social

Every Saturday evening from Mother's Day to Labor Day, we feature a kids' ice cream social, serving 2 scoops of ice cream, toppings, and lots of fun. Biking and Hiking

From our campground, walk for miles at low tide and explore nearby coves and tide pools for starfish, crabs, and sea critters. Kids love to ride their bikes around the campground. Kids bikes are available to rent.

Nearby, a very popular hiking and biking trail is The Ten Mile Trail, which stretches from Fort Bragg to Ten Mile River.

More challenging trails can be found at the Angelo Coast Range Reserve (9.5 miles east of the campground off Bascomb Road), which runs along the flanks of the Eel River. Still more trails may be found at the Lost Coast. Go 12.5 miles north of the campground on Highway 1, turn left on Usal Road.

Canoeing and Kayaking

Rent kayaks and canoes at Noyo Harbor in Fort Bragg, and explore the harbor area with picturesque small craft marinas, sea lions, and shore birds. Evening kayak and bird watch in Noyo Harbor: www.liquidfusionkayak.com

Or, put your canoe or kayak in at 10 Mile River, and paddle upstream for an adventure. See elk, deer, birds galore! Or, Kayak Little River and the Sea Caves! This is so good you won't believe it!
